Our History
Natur Galathris S.A. was founded in 1955 by Stamatis Galathris, who began his operations in facilities located in the AVIKO area, at the Kritika site. Initially, he experimented with homemade juices made from oranges, lemons, and other fruits, using manual equipment. At the same time, he established an ice production unit to meet the needs of customers and households of that era.
In 1976, the business advanced by installing new Greek semi-automatic machinery, aiming to increase the production of bottled products. In 1978, the company was transferred to Michalis and Apostolos Galathris and was transformed into a general partnership under the name Galathris Brothers G.P.
In 1980, a 27-acre plot was acquired in the area of Marmaroto, where, with funding from the Hellenic Bank for Industrial Development (ETVA), an investment was made in new building facilities and in automatic machinery of German origin, from the HORMES company. The relocation was completed in 1983, and the new plant has been in operation since 1984 to this day.
In 1991, the company was converted into a Public Industrial and Commercial Corporation under the name Natur Galathris S.A.
During the summer season, Natur Galathris S.A. employs 40 staff members and operates a fleet of 15 vehicles to meet its product distribution needs. The company continues to grow steadily, investing in technology, human resources, and new markets, with the goal of providing high-quality products and services.
